We are Burners. We started the Prairie Burn 100 gravel bike ride in 2019 as a fundraiser for Imagine Grinnell to support a healthy and sustainable Grinnell community.

Fruit Tree Workshop

Suzanne Slack, Fruit Crops Specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Assistant Professor with Iowa State University, will present techniques on how to plant, care for and maintain fruit trees.

Peach, pear, apple, plum or cherry trees available. All trees will be bare root, attendees will learn how to plant the tree. RSVP for the event for a chance to WIN a free fruit tree. Sign up via email or Google form

Burner Gravel Rides

When daylight allows, we gather at Merrill Park each Tuesday and take off on a no-drop 20 mile/12K ride at 5:30pm. We'll keep our focus on clinics and singular training during the winter months, but be sure to check our Facebook and Instagram accounts for ride updates. By riding the weekly gravel ride, you are taking all of the risks associated with the gravel ride. Please read our liability waiver.
