Gravel Gobbler
Join the Prairie Burners for the 2nd Gravel Gobbler mixed surface in town bike ride. Approximately 12 miles. Meet at Merrill Park west shelter at 8am and leave by 8:30am. Dress for the weather and wear a helmet!

Gravel Curious Ride
Have you been thinking about joining the gravel rides? Not sure you want to jump into 20 miles? Join a small Prairie Burner group for a shortened approx. 10 mile ride. Mostly in town. Prairie Burn 100 Gravel Bike Ride
We are Burners. We started the Prairie Burn 100 gravel bike ride in 2019 as a fundraiser for Imagine Grinnell to support a healthy and sustainable Grinnell community.

1000Trees Public Distribution
Imagine Grinnell and 1000 Trees is offering free trees to anyone in the 50112 zip code. To apply for a tree, please fill out this Google form. Click here to see a list of available trees. Volunteers are needed to help distribute and plant trees on May 14. Sign up here.
Bike Path Cleanup
Please join us April 23 at 9:00am to help cleanup the Grinnell area bike path. Everyone is welcome to help. We will meet on the bike path at the 20th and 11th intersection. For questions or more information please contact Jennifer at 641-236-5518, ext. 109.
Fruit Tree Workshop
Suzanne Slack, Fruit Crops Specialist with Iowa State University Extension and Assistant Professor with Iowa State University, will present techniques on how to plant, care for and maintain fruit trees.
Peach, pear, apple, plum or cherry trees available. All trees will be bare root, attendees will learn how to plant the tree. RSVP for the event for a chance to WIN a free fruit tree. Sign up via email or Google form

Burner Gravel Rides
When daylight allows, we gather at Merrill Park each Tuesday and take off on a no-drop 20 mile/12K ride at 5:30pm. We'll keep our focus on clinics and singular training during the winter months, but be sure to check our Facebook and Instagram accounts for ride updates. By riding the weekly gravel ride, you are taking all of the risks associated with the gravel ride. Please read our liability waiver.
