The garden is located adjacent to Lake Nyanza on the south side of Grinnell near the Grinnell Middle School. Plots are available for a small annual fee. Community Garden members can attend any of the gardening course for free, but other in the community are welcome to participate in the classes as well. Don’t have space to garden? Is your backyard too shady to grow vegetables? Consider becoming a member of the Community Garden by applying for a plot for the 2016 season. Applications are due in March each year.

Grinnell Community Garden workshops combine learning and hands-on demonstration to showcase different gardening techniques and styles.
