Imagine Grinnell is a membership supported non-profit organization that works closely with the City of Grinnell and other community leaders and groups. Our mission is to:

  • improve the quality of life for our people
  • promote a healthy environment
  • complement economic development efforts

Imagine Grinnell uses its non-profit status and the strength of the Grinnell community to harness donations, government and private grants, and volunteers for a wide variety of community projects. Much of our focus goes to improve options for environmentally responsible living (recycling, energy & water conservation, local foods), increase biking and walking opportunities (Grinnell Area Recreation Trail development and expansion, Bike to Work week, Walk to School Day, etc.), but a wide range of other projects have been a part of our legacy in Grinnell.

We can’t Imagine Grinnell without you.
